San Mateo Concrete Services was founded in 2020 by a crew that had spent years working on Peninsula job sites and wanted to build something of their own. San Mateo felt like the right place to put down roots - a city full of older homes that needed real work, homeowners who cared about quality, and a community worth being part of.
A large share of San Mateo homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s. That means a lot of driveways, patios, sidewalks, and foundations pushing 60 or 70 years old. We have seen what happens when that kind of work is patched together instead of done properly, and we built this company around doing it right the first time.
